Community Center Building

The  Lanesville Heritage Community Center is available year round for rent for parties, meetings and wedding receptions!

The Lanesville Heritage Community Center is a multi-purpose building owned by the Lanesville Heritage Committee. 

Rental Fees:

Wedding - $2000, plus $100 cleaning fee. $500 damage deposit (due when contract signed). Total amount due one month prior to the event. 
 
5 hour event rental - $500, plus $100 cleaning fee, $300 damage deposit (due when contract signed).

During the Lanesville Heritage Weekend festival the Community Center is home to the following home cooked meals:

Saturday 11AM – 3PM

Chicken and Dumplings Lunch
served by a local Church

Sunday 11AM

Fried Chicken Dinner
served by local churches.

Lanesville Heritage Weekend is community based and volunteer-driven annual festival that has been celebrated for over 40 years now. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and energized individuals to help keep this heritage tradition alive for many years to come!

We are always looking for individual and business volunteers during our festival weekend, but also the days leading up to. Our festival is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and sponsorships for our continuance year after year. There is volunteer work available for all ages and skill sets. Stay With Us

Camping and Maps

Danny Wolfe (812-596-2508 dwolfe0474@gmail.com) will be handling the Primitive Camping for 2025. Campers can arrive starting at 10am on Sunday, September 7th. The camp sites are first come first served and there are approximately 58 camp sites. To purchase a campsite, you must have your camper with you (no exceptions) and you are only allowed one campsite per camper. If you want to have a camp site next to a friend, you must be in line together. We will do our best to put friends beside each other but cannot guarantee this will happen.

Danny will be setting up near the camp sites starting at 10am on Sunday, September 7th festival to get you registered, collect your money ($100.00/site – Cash or Check ONLY) and issue you a camp site. 

If you arrive early, line up in the grass field parking lot so you don’t block any of the asphalt roads.
